# On Close email received

> Run when Close receives an email from a lead or contact.

`close.onEmailReceived` starts an automation when Close creates an incoming email activity.

import { close } from "automate.ax/close"

export default automation("On Close email received", () => {
  const event = close.onEmailReceived()
  // Send the received Close email to the assigned representative.
})
```

Optional static `account` selects a named binding. Returns the Close event envelope with the incoming `CloseEmail` in `data`.
