# On Close email sent

> Run when Close sends an email.

`close.onEmailSent` starts an automation after Close sends an email.

```ts automations/on-close-email-sent.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { close } from "automate.ax/close"

export default automation("On Close email sent", () => {
  const event = close.onEmailSent()
  // Track the sent Close email.
})
```

Optional static `account` selects a named binding. Returns the Close event envelope with the sent `CloseEmail` in `data`.
