# On Close lead deleted

> Run when Close deletes a lead.

`close.onLeadDeleted` run when Close deletes a lead.

```ts automations/on-close-lead-deleted.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { close } from "automate.ax/close"
export default automation("On Close lead deleted", () => {
  const event = close.onLeadDeleted()
  // Remove state tied to the deleted Close lead.
})
```

Optional static `account` selects a named Close binding; the project binding is the default. Automate.ax creates and maintains the Close webhook and verifies each delivery with Close's signing secret.

Returns a `CloseEvent` whose `data` is `null`. Use `objectId` for the deleted lead ID; the full record is no longer available. All semantic events preserve the shared [Close event envelope](/reference/integrations/close/triggers/on-close-event#trigger-data).
