# On Close lead updated

> Run when Close updates a lead.

`close.onLeadUpdated` run when Close updates a lead.

```ts automations/on-close-lead-updated.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { close } from "automate.ax/close"
export default automation("On Close lead updated", () => {
  const event = close.onLeadUpdated()
  // Sync changes from the updated Close lead.
})
```

Optional static `account` selects a named Close binding; the project binding is the default. Automate.ax creates and maintains the Close webhook and verifies each delivery with Close's signing secret.

Returns a `CloseEvent` whose `data` is the updated `CloseLead`. `changedFields` identifies provider fields that changed. All semantic events preserve the shared [Close event envelope](/reference/integrations/close/triggers/on-close-event#trigger-data).
