# Create folder

> Create a CloseBot bot and persona folder.

`closeBot.createFolder` creates a top-level or nested folder.

```ts automations/create-closebot-folder.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { closeBot } from "automate.ax/closebot"

export default automation("Create CloseBot folder", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Create folder" })
  closeBot.createFolder({ name: "Sales", parentId: "parent-folder-id" })
})
```

## Inputs

Provide `name`. Omit `parentId` for a top-level folder.

## Output

Returns the new folder ID.
