# Get library file

> Get metadata for one CloseBot library file.

`closeBot.getLibraryFile` retrieves metadata and source attachments for one knowledge file.

import { closeBot } from "automate.ax/closebot"

export default automation("Get CloseBot library file", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Get library file" })

## Inputs

Provide the `fileId` returned by `listLibraryFiles`.

## Output

Returns file metadata and source attachments. Use `getLibraryFilePreview` for extracted text.
