# Update bot

> Update a CloseBot bot's settings, personas, and follow-up behavior.

`closeBot.updateBot` changes one or more mutable bot settings. Omitted fields remain unchanged.

## Inputs

Provide `botId` and at least one mutable field. Supported fields cover name, folder, category, favorite, trash, lock, rescheduling, personas, persona split tests, and follow-up schedules.

## Output

Returns the updated bot.
