# Update lead

> Update CloseBot lead fields and conversation flags.

`closeBot.updateLead` updates source-backed fields and optional conversation flags.

## Inputs

Provide `leadId` and the complete `fields` updates. Optional `starred`, `unread`, and `wontRespondUntil` values update conversation state.

## Output

Returns the updated lead.
