# Create notification policy

> Creates a Cloudflare notification policy.

`cloudflare.createNotificationPolicy` creates a Cloudflare notification policy.

Provide the account, name, alert type, and at least one provider mechanism. `enabled` defaults to `true`; filters depend on the alert type. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a static project account binding.

Returns the created policy ID.
