# Get zone

> Retrieves one Cloudflare zone.

`cloudflare.getZone` retrieves one Cloudflare zone.

```ts automations/cloudflare-get-zone.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { cloudflare } from "automate.ax/cloudflare"

export default automation("Get zone", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Get zone" })
  cloudflare.getZone({ zoneId: "zone-id" })
})
```

`zoneId` is required. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a static project account binding.

Returns the normalized zone, including account, status, type, name servers, and timestamps.
