# Purge cache

> Purges cached content for a zone.

`cloudflare.purgeCache` purges cached content for a zone.

Choose exactly one mode: `purgeEverything`, `files`, `hosts`, `prefixes`, or `tags`. Selective modes accept at most 30 entries. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a static project account binding.

Returns Cloudflare's purge operation ID.
