# Update zone

> Updates mutable zone settings.

`cloudflare.updateZone` updates mutable zone settings.

```ts automations/cloudflare-update-zone.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { cloudflare } from "automate.ax/cloudflare"

export default automation("Update zone", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Update zone" })
  cloudflare.updateZone({ zoneId: "zone-id", paused: true })
})
```

Provide `zoneId` and at least one of `paused`, `type`, or `vanityNameServers`. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a static project account binding.

Returns the updated zone.
