# Delete role

> Delete a Discord server role.

`discord.deleteRole` delete a Discord server role.

## Inputs

Required server and role IDs; optional audit-log `reason`. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects the Discord binding.

## Output

Returns no value.

## Discord behavior

Requires `MANAGE_ROLES`. Discord rejects managed roles and roles above the bot.
