# Get server

> Retrieve one Discord server by ID.

`discord.getGuild` retrieve one Discord server by ID.

import { discord } from "automate.ax/discord"

export default automation("Get server", () => {
  onHttpRequest({ scope: "automation" })
  discord.getGuild({ guildId: "123456789012345678", withCounts: true })
})
```

## Inputs

Required `guildId`; optional `withCounts` defaults to `false`. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects the Discord binding.

## Output

Returns a `DiscordGuild`. When `withCounts` is `true`, it also includes `approximateMemberCount` and `approximatePresenceCount`.

## Discord behavior

The bot must be installed in the server.
