# Join thread

> Add the connected Discord bot to a thread.

`discord.joinThread` add the connected Discord bot to a thread.

## Inputs

Required `threadId`. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects the Discord binding.

## Output

Returns no value.

## Discord behavior

The bot must be able to view and join the thread.
