# On entitlement created

> Start an automation when Discord creates an application entitlement.

`discord.onEntitlementCreated` receives `ENTITLEMENT_CREATE` when Discord grants or sells one of your application's SKUs.

  const event = discord.onEntitlementCreated()
  // Grant the Discord SKU identified by event.data.skuId.

The normalized entitlement includes application, SKU, user or server ownership, time bounds, type, consumed state, and deletion state. Optional `account` selects the Discord application.
