# Create outbound call

> Places an outbound call through an ElevenLabs agent and Twilio number.

`elevenLabs.createOutboundCall` requires `agentId`, `agentPhoneNumberId`, and an E.164 `toNumber`. `dynamicVariables` supplies string, number, or boolean conversation variables; `callRecordingEnabled` controls provider recording. It returns `success`, a message, and nullable `conversationId` and Twilio `callSid`.

The phone number must already be imported into ElevenLabs from Twilio. Automate.ax does not replay this action after an uncertain provider response because another request could place a duplicate call.
