# Enable GitHub workflow

> Enable a disabled GitHub Actions workflow.

`github.enableWorkflow` enables a disabled workflow.

```ts automations/enable-github-workflow.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { github } from "automate.ax/github"

export default automation("Enable deploy workflow", () => {
  github.enableWorkflow({
    owner: "SentsCo",
    repository: "automate.ax",
    workflowId: "deploy.yml",
  })
})
```

Provide the repository and a numeric workflow ID or workflow file name. Returns `{}` after GitHub accepts the change. Requires Actions write permission.
