# Get GitHub deployment status

> Get one status from a GitHub deployment.

`github.getDeploymentStatus` gets one deployment status by ID.

```ts automations/get-github-deployment-status.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { github } from "automate.ax/github"

export default automation("Get GitHub deployment status", () => {
  const status = github.getDeploymentStatus({
    deploymentId: 123456,
    owner: "SentsCo",
    repository: "automate.ax",
    statusId: 789,
  })
})
```

Provide the repository, `deploymentId`, and `statusId`. Returns the status `id` and `state`. Requires Deployments read permission.
