# Get GitHub workflow run

> Get one GitHub Actions workflow run by ID.

`github.getWorkflowRun` gets one workflow run and its current lifecycle state.

import { github } from "automate.ax/github"

export default automation("Get GitHub workflow run", () => {
  const run = github.getWorkflowRun({
    owner: "SentsCo",
    repository: "automate.ax",
    runId: 123456789,
  })
})
```

Provide the repository and numeric `runId`. Optional `excludePullRequests` removes pull request objects from GitHub's response. Returns the run's `id`, `html_url`, `status`, and `conclusion`. Requires Actions read permission.
