# List GitHub issue comments

> List comments on a GitHub issue or pull request.

`github.listIssueComments` lists conversation comments on one issue or pull request.

import { github } from "automate.ax/github"

export default automation("List GitHub comments", () => {
  const comments = github.listIssueComments({
    issueNumber: 42,
    owner: "SentsCo",
    repository: "automate.ax",
    sort: "updated",
  })
})
```

Provide the repository and `issueNumber`. Optional `sort`, `direction`, `since`, `page`, and `perPage` control the page. Returns each issue comment's `id` and `body`, not inline diff comments. Requires Issues read or Pull requests read permission.
