# List GitHub pull request files

> List files changed by a GitHub pull request.

`github.listPullRequestFiles` lists the files and patches in one pull request.

```ts automations/list-github-pr-files.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { github } from "automate.ax/github"

export default automation("List GitHub pull request files", () => {
  const files = github.listPullRequestFiles({
    owner: "SentsCo",
    pullRequestNumber: 42,
    repository: "automate.ax",
  })
})
```

Provide the repository and `pullRequestNumber`. Pagination defaults to page `1` with `30` results. Returns each file's `filename`, `sha`, and `status`. Requires Pull requests read permission.
