# List GitHub releases

> List releases in a GitHub repository.

`github.listReleases` lists published, prerelease, and accessible draft releases.

import { github } from "automate.ax/github"

export default automation("List GitHub releases", () => {
  const releases = github.listReleases({
    owner: "SentsCo",
    repository: "automate.ax",
  })
})
```

Provide `owner` and `repository`. Pagination defaults to page `1` with `30` results. Returns each release's `id`, `tag_name`, `draft`, and `prerelease` state. Plain Git tags without releases are not included. Requires Contents read permission.
