# List GitHub repositories

> List repositories available to a GitHub App installation.

`github.listRepositories` lists repositories the selected GitHub App installation can access.

import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { github } from "automate.ax/github"

export default automation("List GitHub repositories", () => {
  const repositories = github.listRepositories({ perPage: 100 })
  // Sync the accessible GitHub repositories to the asset inventory.
})
```

Optional `page` defaults to `1`; `perPage` defaults to `30` and accepts up to `100`. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects the GitHub binding. Returns each repository's `id`, `name`, and `full_name`. No additional repository permission is required beyond installation access.
