# On GitHub check run cancelled

> Start an automation when a GitHub check run is cancelled.

`github.onCheckRunCancelled` starts an automation for a completed check run with conclusion `"cancelled"`.

Returns the typed payload with `check_run.conclusion: "cancelled"`. Requires Checks read permission.
