# On GitHub check suite action required

> Start an automation when a GitHub check suite requires action.

`github.onCheckSuiteActionRequired` starts an automation for a completed check suite with conclusion `"action_required"`.

Returns the typed payload with `check_suite.conclusion: "action_required"`. Requires Checks read permission.
