# On GitHub pull request review requested

> Start an automation when a GitHub pull request review is requested.

`github.onPullRequestReviewRequested` emits pull request events with `action: "review_requested"`.

export default automation("pull request review requested", () => {
  const event = github.onPullRequestReviewRequested()
  // Update GitHub pull request merge readiness.

```

Optional static `account` defaults to the project binding. Returns the complete typed GitHub webhook payload narrowed to `action: "review_requested"`. Requires Pull requests read permission.
