# On GitHub pull request stacked

> Start an automation when a GitHub pull request is added to a stack.

`github.onPullRequestStacked` emits pull request events with `action: "stacked"`.

import { github } from "automate.ax/github"

export default automation("pull request stacked", () => {
  const event = github.onPullRequestStacked()
  // Update the GitHub pull request in the review dashboard.

```

Optional static `account` defaults to the project binding. Returns the complete typed GitHub webhook payload narrowed to `action: "stacked"`. Requires Pull requests read permission.
