# On GitHub repository transferred

> Run when a GitHub repository is transferred.

`github.onRepositoryTransferred` subscribes to transferred repositories.

import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { github } from "automate.ax/github"

export default automation("Watch GitHub repository transferred", () => {
  const event = github.onRepositoryTransferred()
  // Sync the GitHub repository to the asset inventory.
})
```

Optional static `account` defaults to the project binding. Returns typed GitHub `repository` payloads with `action: "transferred"`. Requires Metadata read permission and repository access.
