# On GitHub workflow job timed out

> Run when a GitHub Actions workflow job times out.

`github.onWorkflowJobTimedOut` emits completed jobs with `conclusion: "timed_out"`.

import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { github } from "automate.ax/github"

export default automation("GitHub workflow job timed out", () => {
  const event = github.onWorkflowJobTimedOut()

```

Returns the timed-out job, its steps, runner, and timestamps. Requires Actions read permission.
