# Create audience

> Create a reusable Google Ads audience from demographic or segment dimensions.

Use `googleAds.createAudience` to create a reusable Google Ads audience from demographic or segment dimensions.

## Example

```ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { googleAds } from "automate.ax/google-ads"
export default automation("Create audience", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Create audience" })
  googleAds.createAudience({
    customerId: "1234567890",
    name: "Existing customers",
    dimensions: [
      {
        audienceSegments: {
          segments: [
            { userList: { userList: "customers/1234567890/userLists/111" } },
          ],
        },
      },
    ],
  })
})
```

## Inputs

Set `customerId`, a unique `name`, and at least one audience dimension. Dimensions support user lists, age ranges, gender, household income, and parental status. All customer-scoped actions accept optional `loginCustomerId` for manager-account access and a named Google account binding.

## Output

Returns the created audience resource name.
