# Update ad-group ad status

> Enable or pause a Google Ads ad-group ad.

Use `googleAds.updateAdGroupAdStatus` to enable or pause a Google Ads ad-group ad.

## Example

import { googleAds } from "automate.ax/google-ads"

export default automation("Update ad-group ad status", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Update ad-group ad status" })

  googleAds.updateAdGroupAdStatus({

```

## Inputs

Set customer, canonical resource name, and `ENABLED` or `PAUSED`. All customer-scoped actions accept optional `loginCustomerId` for manager-account access and a named Google account binding.

## Output

Returns the updated resource name.
