# Delete content

> Delete content in a document range.

`googleDocs.deleteContent` delete content in a document range.

## Example

```ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { googleDocs } from "automate.ax/google-docs"

export default automation("Delete content", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Delete content" })
  googleDocs.deleteContent({
    document: "document-id",
    startIndex: 10,
    endIndex: 20,
  })
})
```

## Inputs

Provide `document`, a `startIndex` of 1 or greater, and a greater `endIndex`. `tabId` and revision controls are optional. A second argument with `account` selects a Google Account.

## Output

Returns the document ID and resulting revision ID.
