# Insert page break

> Insert a page break into a document.

`googleDocs.insertPageBreak` insert a page break into a document.

## Example

```ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { googleDocs } from "automate.ax/google-docs"

export default automation("Insert page break", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Insert page break" })
  googleDocs.insertPageBreak({ document: "document-id", index: 20 })
})
```

## Inputs

Provide `document`. Set `index` to insert at a location; otherwise Google appends to the segment. `tabId` and revision controls are optional. A second argument with `account` selects a Google Account.

## Output

Returns the document ID and resulting revision ID.
