# Copy file

> Copy a Drive file with optional new metadata.

`googleDrive.copyFile` copy a Drive file with optional new metadata.

## Example

```ts theme={null}
import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { googleDrive } from "automate.ax/google-drive"

export default automation("Copy file", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Copy file" })
  googleDrive.copyFile({
    fileId: "file-id",
    name: "Copy",
    parentId: "folder-id",
  })
})
```

## Inputs

Provide `fileId`. `name`, `description`, and `parentId` are optional. A second argument with `account` selects a Google Account.

## Output

Returns normalized metadata for the copy.
