# Get recording

> Retrieve one Google Meet recording and its Drive destination.

`getGoogleMeetRecording` retrieves the state, timing, and generated file for one recording session.

## Example

import { getGoogleMeetRecording } from "automate.ax/google-meet"

export default automation("Inspect a recording", () => {
  onHttpRequest({ scope: "automation" })

  return getGoogleMeetRecording({
    recording: "conferenceRecords/record-id/recordings/recording-id",
  })
})
```

## Inputs

Provide the full `recording` resource name. Second argument `{ account }` selects the Google Account. Inputs accept compatible signals.

## Output

Returns `name`, optional start/end times, and an optional Drive destination with `fileId` and `exportUri`. The `state` is `started`, `ended`, or `fileGenerated`.
