# Replace image

> Replace an existing image while preserving its object ID.

`googleSlides.replaceImage` replace an existing image while preserving its object ID.

## Example

export default automation("Replace image", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Replace image" })
  googleSlides.replaceImage({
    presentation: "presentation-id",

    imageUrl: "https://example.com/new.png",
    replaceMethod: "centerCrop",
  })
})
```

## Inputs

Provide `presentation`, image `objectId`, and a public HTTP(S) `imageUrl` shorter than 2 KB. `replaceMethod` defaults to `centerCrop`. A second argument with `account` selects a Google Account.

## Output

Returns the presentation ID and resulting revision ID. Google must be able to fetch the image as a PNG, JPEG, or GIF smaller than 50 MB and no larger than 25 megapixels.
