# Archive contact

> Archive a JobNimbus contact without permanently deleting it.

`jobNimbus.archiveContact` archive a JobNimbus contact without permanently deleting it.

## Inputs

Provide `contactId`. Optional `actor`, `bulk`, and `skip` control legacy admin visibility and automation or notification processing. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named binding. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named JobNimbus binding.

## Output

Returns the updated `JobNimbusContact` with `isActive: false`. JobNimbus keeps the record available for restoration.
