# Get task

> Retrieve one JobNimbus task by ID.

`jobNimbus.getTask` retrieve one JobNimbus task by ID.

import { jobNimbus } from "automate.ax/jobnimbus"

## Inputs

Provide the task JNID. An admin key can optionally set `actor`. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named binding. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a named JobNimbus binding.

## Output

Returns the normalized `JobNimbusTask` with `Date` values for documented task timestamps.
