# Archive cycle

> Archive a Linear cycle.

`linear.archiveCycle` archives a Linear cycle..

import { automation, onDashboardRun } from "automate.ax"
import { linear } from "automate.ax/linear"

export default automation("Archive cycle", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Archive cycle" })
  linear.archiveCycle({ cycleId: "cycle-uuid" })
})
```

Provide `cycleId`. Returns the archived `LinearCycle`, or `null` if Linear deleted it. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects the Linear binding.
