# Create document

> Create a Linear document.

`linear.createDocument` creates a Linear document..

  onDashboardRun({ title: "Create document" })
  linear.createDocument({

```

Provide `title`. You can attach the document to either one `projectId` or one `issueId`, not both, and set its content, owner, icon, color, or sort order. Returns the created `LinearDocument`. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects the Linear binding.
