# Create project milestone

> Create a milestone in a Linear project.

`linear.createProjectMilestone` creates a milestone in a Linear project..

  onDashboardRun({ title: "Create project milestone" })
  linear.createProjectMilestone({

  })
})
```

Provide `projectId` and `name`. You can also set `description`, `targetDate`, and `sortOrder`. Returns the created `LinearProjectMilestone`. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects the Linear binding.
