# Delete document

> Move a Linear document to reversible trash.

`linear.deleteDocument` moves a Linear document to reversible trash..

Provide `documentId`. Linear keeps the document recoverable through `linear.unarchiveDocument`. Returns the trashed `LinearDocument`, or `null` if Linear deleted it. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects the Linear binding.
