# Get comment

> Get one Linear comment by ID.

`getComment` loads a comment or threaded reply.

import { automation, onHttpRequest } from "automate.ax"
import { getComment } from "automate.ax/linear"

export default automation("Get Linear comment", () => {
  onHttpRequest({ scope: "automation" })
  getComment({ commentId: "comment-uuid" })
})
```

`commentId` is required; optional `account` defaults to the project binding. Returns `Signal<LinearComment>` with Markdown body, author, parent relationships, URL, and lifecycle timestamps.
