# Get project update

> Get one Linear project update.

`linear.getProjectUpdate` gets one Linear project update..

import { linear } from "automate.ax/linear"

export default automation("Get project update", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Get project update" })
  linear.getProjectUpdate({ projectUpdateId: "update-uuid" })
})
```

Provide an ID or project-local slug as `projectUpdateId`. When using a slug, also provide `projectId`. Returns the matching `LinearProjectUpdate`. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects the Linear binding.
