# Get viewer

> Get the Linear user represented by the connected OAuth account.

`getViewer` returns the authenticated user's complete workspace profile.

```ts automations/get-linear-viewer.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation, onHttpRequest } from "automate.ax"
import { getViewer } from "automate.ax/linear"
export default automation("Get Linear viewer", () => {
  onHttpRequest({ scope: "automation" })
  getViewer()
})
```

Only optional `account` is accepted; it defaults to the project binding. Returns `Signal<LinearUser>` with identity, email, names, avatar, profile URL, active/admin/owner/guest/app flags, archive/join/update dates, timezone, and `isMe`.
