# On comment created

> Start an automation when a Linear comment is created.

`onLinearCommentCreated` matches new issue comments and threaded replies in the workspace.

```ts automations/watch-new-linear-comments.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { onLinearCommentCreated } from "automate.ax/linear"
export default automation("Watch new Linear comments", () => {
  onLinearCommentCreated()
})
```

Optional static `account` defaults to the project binding. Returns a comment webhook signal with `action: "create"`, provider-native `data`, optional actor and URL, and workspace/webhook metadata.
