# On comment updated

> Start an automation when a Linear comment is updated.

`onLinearCommentUpdated` matches comment edit actions.

```ts automations/watch-linear-comment-edits.automation.ts theme={null}
import { automation } from "automate.ax"
import { onLinearCommentUpdated } from "automate.ax/linear"
export default automation("Watch Linear comment edits", () => {
  onLinearCommentUpdated()
})
```

Optional static `account` defaults to the project binding. Returns a comment webhook signal with `action: "update"`, current provider-native `data`, previous values in optional `updatedFrom`, and actor/workspace/webhook metadata.
