# On issue created

> Start an automation when a Linear issue is created.

`onLinearIssueCreated` filters workspace issue webhooks to creations.

Optional static `account` defaults to the project binding. Returns an issue webhook signal with `action: "create"`, provider-native `data`, type, actor, organization and webhook metadata, URL, and creation time. `updatedFrom` is optional and normally absent for creation.
