# Delete Page comment

> Deletes a comment on a Facebook Page post.

`metaAds.deletePageComment` permanently deletes a comment on a Facebook Page post.

import { metaAds } from "automate.ax/meta-ads"

export default automation("Delete Page comment", () => {
  onDashboardRun({ title: "Delete Page comment" })
  metaAds.deletePageComment({ commentId: "comment-id", pageId: "page-id" })
})
```

Prefer [Hide Page comment](https://docs.automate.ax/reference/integrations/meta-ads/actions/hide-page-comment.md) when you might need the comment later. Optional second argument `{ account }` selects a static project account binding.

Returns `success`. Deletion isn't replay-safe. The action needs `pages_show_list` plus either `pages_manage_engagement` or `pages_read_user_content`.
